"$5 off a Fandango Movie Ticket to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" code no longer working

The recent $5 Fandango promo code to watch The Super Mario Galaxy Movie no longer is working when purchasing tickets on Fandango.com. I'm under the impression that we have until April 8, 2026 to use the code. I'm very disappointed that I'm unable to use the code to purchase the movie tickets! The Terms and Conditions for the promotion mention "Restrictions apply. Ends 3/23/2026", but that date is for acquiring the code from Xfinity Benefits, not for redeeming on Fandango. We should have until 4/8/2026 to redeem on Fandango. Did Fandango turn off the codes incorrectly?

I might've confirmed a suspicion. It looks like a time-zone based cutoff on March 23. I have folks in a later time zone testing my code and it works for them, but not for me. So that means everyone's codes will cease to work after everyone hits midnight tonight. Shouldn't Fandango be allowing codes until 4/8 though? It seems like false advertising or misleading Terms and Conditions for the promotion.

dhdhdh I would be happy to have our rewards team review the terms and conditions of the reward to see why it didn't allow the cost until 4/8 as expected, and see if they can help get it to work.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I just got a pop-up saying $5 for the movie it just came on my phone! When I clicked it I got an error so I decided to search for it! Then I found this! I was so happy because my kids went to see this movie and we were planning to so Xfinity giving us $5 off for being a customer would be great! But if not, why [Edited: "Language"]? Are they still making a pop-up for something they ended already? 😭

Its understandable that there are only so many tickets to be claimed but im still recieving the pop up and unable to claim it and that is what makes this sort of unacceptable 🤷‍♀️
