3rd party overseas Xfinity customer support asking for SSN

I was scammed a few years ago for this and looks like they are still doing it and getting away with it. Few years ago I added a service to my Xfinity account the phone representative stated she would transfer me to an automatic message that will ask for my social security number. I did that and about a month later I got bills in my name from some person using my identity including a line of credit to purchase a car. I was also contacted by a police officer in a whole different county far away showing some lady on security cam at a bank pretending to be me. This Should be investigated! Xfinity corporate should not keep allowing these overseas 3rd party workers be doing fraudulent things to Xfinity customers. I understand it probably saves money to pay them cheap wages compared to paying Americans but still they need to protect us the customer paying good hard earn money every month. Very disappointed another thing Xfinity trapped me recently by me switching to Xfinity mobile 2 lines for $60 but they don't mention an additional $14 for fees and charges. They send me two phones that after only a few days they stopped working properly the Google pixel gets extremely hot when only using GPS or webcam, reception is horrible always breaks up, the screen freezes and you can't turn the phone off you have to wait til it dies for it to turn off. The Motorola turns off out of nowhere and goes extremely slow like an old PC. I called to ask to exchange within the 14 days again the phone representative asks for my social security number I'm like seriously just to exchange phones that was mailed to me by the company the guy gets mad because I kindly declined super suspicious. I tried to just wait and trouble shoot see if I can fixed the issue myself still nothing about a few days after the 14 days I asked again can I get a refund or exchange they tell me it's too late and that now I owe $400 plus for the Google pixel and $170 for the Motorola and I need to make monthly payments. Once these are paid off I'm leaving Xfinity mobile ASAP! And possibly will leave Xfinity altogether had a lot more bad than good times with them.

@user_420d0c this is not the type of experience we want for any of our customers. We do take account security seriously and protect our customers at all times. I am here and would love to help. Are you reporting fraud or issues with your Xfinity Mobile services?

@XfinityLamont I want to know why was I given two refurbished phones? That's horrible to do to a new customer. I use to have MetroPCS and a Xfinity representative convinced me to switch I really actually didn't want to I was calling that day about my internet. About 3 weeks later both phones starts glitching I call customer service they say it's too late to exchange over the 14days. The Google pixel 6a gets very hot when I use webcam or GPS sometimes it freezes and you cannot turn off or reset the phone you have to wait til the battery dies thankfully it doesn't take that long til it dies because that's another issue the battery drains super fast. And I barely have any apps or pictures on here. I wish I never switched to Xfinity once these phones paid off I'm going back to MetroPCS ASAP!
