35 year loyal Xfinity Comcast Customer

I'm so upset. My husband says enough is enough. We are paying 230.00 per month for cable and internet. Wayyyy to much for soon to be retired folks. I've contacted an agent 2 weeks ago who assured me that a better package deal was coming in 2 weeks. I waited. I contacted another agent who acknowledged thanks for being a loyal customer with Comcast, but told me there was no specials. Even when I dropped 2 rooms off downgraded from 185 channels to 125 and was willing to go from 800 to 400 on the internet speed it was only going to save like 25 bucks. I'm at a loss for words. Have been researching Dish Network and others. I don't want to go but it sure looks like we will have to. Looks like "Diamond" level 35 years means nothing to Comcast. 😭

*****BUT, If I'm a new customer, I can get the following: 125 channels for $60 mo. 400 maps for $45 and add 2 X1 boxes for $20. I could get what I really need now for $125, but I can't, because I'm a 35 year loyal customer. Doesn't make sense does it? I'm sure the majority of you feel like me. Xfinity should reward the long time customers instead of making them pay super high prices.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I share the concern of this customer. I'm also "Diamond." My current bundle expires in 2024, and I do hope that Comcast can provide me with another contracted bundle. And I hope that communications with Comcast regarding that matter will be easy and smooth. I still find communicating with Comcast to be extremely challenging.
