3 outages in my area in the last couple months

I work from home, and today was the third outage in my area. The support/outage map just states network damage. I would like to know more about what is happening and why it's happening so frequently. I'm frustrated with the Xifinity chat agent as it will not direct me to anyone. The Xfinity website doesn't have a direct email where it seems the most logic to pose this question. I do not want to go through the phone and get bounced around for 30 minutes and probably not get any answers. Basically, if this is going to keep happening, I would want to switch internet providers.

To get the most up-to-date information, you can always visit our Status Center or use the Xfinity app to view the status of your services and equipment and even troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the future. When our technicians provide updates about the work they're doing, the Status Center is updated at the same time with the same information as our internal systems, so that's the best place to check. I appreciate your patience as we work towards a resolution.
