3 month long wait for internet construction

Hello, I moved into a home that needs internet connected to the already existing poles. I submitted for internet connection in Feb 2024. The internet construction stated they are waiting on pole permits to be able to connect  about 300 ft of line. The dates for construction keep getting pushed further out. The internet was to be installed by May. I am now told they are still waiting on the pole permits and now it is expected to be completed May 30th. I have expressed to the comcast construction that  I have sold my other home and I need internet in order to work from home asap. I am running out of options on what to do in order to get the internet installed as soon as possible for my job. I am sorry but 4  months to get internet is outrageous when there is already internet in the location and the poles to connect to. I need help with this please before I don't have a job because I can't get the internet connected before 4 months.
