3 Days of Outages

In the past 3 days there have been outages in my area from 5 hours up to 10 hours at a time. It is now the weekend and not even two hours after the restoration of last night's outage email was sent at 8 am Sat, 10/3, there is yet another outage, expecting to be resolved by "1pm". The last outage started around 2pm on Fri, 10/3 and was said to be expected resolved by 5p. 5p came and went and they updated the expected time of resolve to 1am. That's probably about when it was fixed (I must assume) as I checked all evening leading up to that time and didnt officially see it was back on until 5:30am this morning (Sat 10/3). The first outage was Thurs 10/1 in the afternoon and was resolved by 9p.

This is ridiculous and the only explanation they can give is "Network Damage". I find it unacceptable that I am paying to have almost 3 consecutive days without internet?? What is really going on?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_tew2yh Thanks for adding a post to the forum. Interruptions can be frustrating, our techs try to be quick and efficient with the repairs. Network Damage means something happened to the lines or at the plant in the area. Are you able to sign up for the notification list? That notifies the techs in the area that your home is impacted, and lets you know when service is restored immediately.
