2nd request: Advanced network/provisioning support
I need this escalated to Xfinity Mobile advanced network/provisioning support. This is not a basic device troubleshooting issue.
Device: iPhone 15
Carrier bundle: Xfinity 70.1
IMS Status: Voice, SMS & RCS
Current status:
• iMessage works normally.
• RCS is active and RCS group messaging works.
• Individual SMS works.
• MMS Messaging is completely missing from Settings > Apps > Messages.
• Group MMS does not work.
• Older SMS/MMS group conversations no longer function as group conversations.
• New groups that cannot use RCS also fail to function as group conversations.
• My replies to these groups are delivered to recipients as individual SMS messages.
• For at least one existing group, incoming replies now arrive as separate individual conversations instead of in the group.
The phone and network settings have already been reset with Xfinity support. Xfinity also provisioned/activated RCS. That corrected some RCS conversations but did not correct MMS/Group MMS.
Please do not repeat the basic device-reset troubleshooting. Please review the provisioning on my line for MMS and Group MMS and escalate this to the appropriate Xfinity Mobile network/provisioning team.
Please also provide me with an escalation/ticket number so I can track this issue.

To start, when did this issue first begin and was there anything you changed on your device when you noticed this happening? I also wanted to ask if you have reached out to Apple Support. The reason I ask is that you mentioned the MMS Messaging option is completely missing from your settings. When troubleshooting group messaging issues, one of the first steps is to confirm that both MMS Messaging and Group Messaging are enabled by navigating to Settings > Messages and ensuring those options are turned on.
If the MMS setting is missing entirely, I would recommend contacting Apple directly for additional guidance, as they may be able to determine why the option is no longer appearing on your device. You can also check that RCS Messaging is enabled by going to Settings > Apps > Messages (or Settings > Messages, depending on your iOS version) and toggling RCS Messaging on, which can help improve cross-platform group messaging.
When you have a chance, could you let us know what response Apple provided regarding the missing MMS setting? Sharing that information may also help other readers who experience a similar issue in the future.
