2-gig Service Availability

I see that the 2Gb up/down plan is available in my account. Is there a way to confirm I would get the symmetrical speeds? Also wanting to know if it is the XB10 that I would receive for the service and what is involved with installation (prefer to do it myself)

mrnoodle - Hello! Thank you for choosing Xfinity and for joining us here on the Forums. We appreciate the opportunity to help.

Select Xfinity markets now offer symmetrical internet speeds, meaning your upload and download speeds are the same. If you're logged into your account and see those speed tiers available at your address, that's a great indication that you're in an eligible market.
To qualify for the Xfinity XB10 Advanced Gateway, your account must be subscribed to an X-Class (Full Duplex DOCSIS 4.0) internet plan that includes symmetrical speeds, such as 500/500 Mbps, 1 Gig/1 Gig, or 2 Gig/2 Gig service. The XB10 is designed to support these next-generation internet speeds and deliver the best possible in-home connectivity experience.
If you're seeing symmetrical speed options available, we'd be happy to help review your current service and determine whether upgrading to an X-Class plan and the XB10 Gateway is an option for your address.
