2.4 GHz band

My wifi was out a few days ago and ever since the issue was resolved, I am not seeing the 2.4G network as an option to connect to. I have a couple appliances, such as my Roomba that can only connect to the 2.4G network and not the 5G, so I am wondering how I can get the 2.4G back as an option?

Hello, user_02ob35. Thank you for reaching out for help reconnecting your devices to a 2.4 GHz channel. This article provides steps for changing your home network's WiFi Channel Selection or Mode with the Xfinity app or the Gateway Admin Tool.(https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-wifi-mode-admin-tool-xfinity-xfi). One thing to keep in mind is that xFi Advanced Gateways (XB6 or newer) have been upgraded with software that manages advanced WiFi settings automatically to help optimize your home network and provide the best performance possible. Advanced WiFi settings for gateways with this software enhancement are not visible and cannot be managed from the Admin Tool or Xfinity app.

I don't see anywhere in my xfinity app where I can get to any advanced settings, and whenever I try to go onto the 10.0.0.1 website, it says "this page cannot be reached." I'm not sure what else to do and xfinity assistant won't connect me to a real person.

It may also help to add that I have a Net Gear router and not an xfinity router

Thank you for the update, user_02ob35. Are you able to toggle the channel settings following the steps in your owner manual? What model device is it?
