200 Dollar Pre Paid Promotion (SCAM)
Anyone else not receive their 200 dollar gift card via a promotion? I signed up for fiber internet and it was a part of my plan. My rep said after 3 successful payments, a 200 dollar pre paid gift card would be sent out to me. I have yet to hear a response from Xfinity, my rep I reached out to, and cannot reach anyone. I'm considering filing a complaint with my state's attorney generals office (fraud unit) which handles unfair and deceptive business practices if I hear no response. I read Comcast had another state sue them over similar issues of not issuing these cards to customers who signed up for internet under the guise they would receive a gift card as well......

I'm also having an issue with the $200 gift card. When I signed up with Xfinity the gal said I'd get it after 90 days. Repeated the offer to the gal to make sure & she repeatedly stated YES I would get the card after 90 days. 90 days have come and gone. A couple of weeks ago I called customer support and they said yes I was eligible and they will escalate this issue and got a ticket number. Waited over a week and no one called, no emails, NOTHING. I called back. Was on the phone over an hour, switched to 5 different people. Then when they tried to pull up my account, they first pulled up and said I lived in an apt in a different sate. Then they pulled up an account and said I was their customer for over 30 yrs. I just signed up for service in June of 2025. Where did they get all this bogus information??? Then I was told that I didn't sign anything that would give me the gift card, that this promotion was to show up on my confirmation email for service hook up and that needed to have service for 90 days. I think that June of 2025 to Jan 2026 is more than 90 days and I was NEVER told that something needed a signature to get a gift card. The customer support is HORRIBLE, they don't speak English and they don't seem to know what they are doing. They are dishonest, liars and I consider this FALSE ADVERTISING. Using this to get customers to sign up for their service and then to get them so frustrated that they will drop the complaints and Xfinity won't have to pay out the $200 gif card. what a SCAM for sure!!!!
