$200 Amazon Gift Card Promotion Scam

I was baited like so many other people on this forum with the December 2024 $200 Amazon Gift Card promotion. I began service on 12/27/24 and have called 5 times over the last month regarding this promotion and every representative has denied that this ever existed. This is incredibly frustrating as I have the screenshot of the promotion from when I enrolled because I have heard of Xfinity's deceptive practices. I have told each representative that I have the proof it existed and everybody says that they cannot accept them, and still proceed to say this promotion didn't exist and just try to sell me on their phone plan. I even direct them to this forum of other Xfinitt agents acknowledging the promotion and still get told it didn't exist. On the 5th call a representative apparently was escalating the issue and assigned a ticket which they said I would get a ticket confirmation within 4 hours of them opening it; I type in the ticket they gave me and it doesn't exist.

Xfinity's customer support is terrible and their practices are very deceitful. I will not recommend Xfinity to anybody based in this experience and I hope that Xfinity makes this right.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_dznymq. I would be happy to check on any open ticket for that Amazon card issue from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

Same thing is happening to me right now… regretting switching everything to them.
