2 Linked accounts now when just trying to get a promotion/new plan ?
This may be confusing, as I am perplexed.
I used the Xfinity website, on my mobile phone, to change my internet plan. After submitting the new plan I received an email from Xfinity stating that another account was now linked to my Xfinity ID. I did not create a new account, nor have I granted access to anyone else. I just want one account - not two. I chose a new plan. Why would I have an email saying i have another linked account?

The email you received is automated, there are not two accounts at your address. We do not allow simultaneous accounts to be active at the same location, so we will not let that happen.

addendum : And if I have another account that needs to be cancelled.
