2 Gig Plan Capped Around 1.4 Gbps After Account Change

I’m on the 2 Gig / 250 Mbps plan and was consistently getting about 2.2–2.3 Gbps before a recent pricing/account change.

Xfinity confirmed I remained on the same 2 Gig plan, but after my modem was restarted/reprovisioned, my download speed immediately dropped to about 1.4–1.5 Gbps and has stayed there.

I’ve rebooted my ARRIS modem and Orbi system multiple times with no improvement. My account currently shows 2000 Mbps down / 250 Mbps up, although it oddly labels it as a “100Mbps Plan.”

I’ve found other posts describing the same ~1.4 Gbps cap after provisioning changes.

Could an Xfinity representative please check the actual modem provisioning/configuration and service profile, not just the billing tier, and confirm it is correctly provisioned for the full 2 Gig / 250 Mbps service?

Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
