100s of spam emails

I am receiving 100's of spam emails.  I have tried chatting and calling.  This is the most non-existent customer support that I have ever experienced.

How do I get it to stop other than getting rid of my email account?

lvollans To report spam to Xfinity, for emails, you should send the full message headers to abuse@comcast.net. For general issues, including safety concerns, you can report them online by signing in to your account at Xfinity's Report an Issue page or by calling 1-800-XFINITY if you are not a customer.

You want me to forward the 100's of emails that I am receiving a minute? That seems outrageous.

lvollans This would be the solution to attempt and remedy the issue. I apologize if that is cumbersome, but to isolate the source and eliminate the unwanted messages, our team would need to gather message data for reference.

I cannot even keep up with how quickly they are coming in.  Is there a way to contact somebody that could expedite this and stop it from happening?

This is ridiculous.  Your answer to your spam filter not working is for me to manually spam you?

lvollans Our solution that we advised you to do is relay the messages to our data security team. Our CSA security group is a dedicated in-house team that aims to ensure a safe, and secure internet experience for our customers. Here is the direct link to email abuse section of the website that outlines the same process I have provided above.

Proceed with caution! When scammers manage to hack into an online account, they sometimes "mailbomb" the account's recovery email addresses in the hope that the victim will be overwhelmed by the flood and won't see any "you changed your info" warning emails sent by the company managing the hacked account.

Comcast Security Assurance may be able to help. You can reach them at 1-888-565-4329. Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers. The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful, so you may need to be persistent and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.
