$1 Movie Weekends Reward missing

An email that arrived from Xfinity on Tuesday invites me to "Enjoy a $1 movie this weekend". The terms/restrictions/conditions are:

$1 Movie Weekends Reward: Restrictions apply. Not available in all areas. Offer ends April 2, 2023. Offer limited to Xfinity Rewards Members with Xfinity X1, or Xfinity Internet customers with an activated Xfinity Flex box or through Xfinity Stream, while supplies last. To redeem Members must log into their account through customer.xfinity.com/Rewards or the Xfinity App and click ‘Get this reward’ button and then rent their movie by the expiration date. $1 Movie has no cash value, may not be redeemed for cash, and cannot be used for any movie rented before claiming the $1 movie. May only be applied toward rentals of XFINITY On DEMAND™ qualifying movies up to a $5.99 value. Limited to one $1 movie rental per account/household per weekend (each weekend begins Friday at 12AM EST and ends Sunday at 11:59PM EST) from February 10, 2023 through April 2, 2023.Taxes and fees extra. Valid in the United States; void where prohibited.  Comcast reserves the right to modify or cancel offer at any time. May not be assigned or transferred. May not be combined with other offers. All redemptions are final.

My diamond Rewards page did not have a "$1 Movie Weekend" offer on Tuesday and still does not have one today, Friday. Why not?

Why is Comcast inviting me to accept a Reward that isn't being offered???

Comcast was never able to make the "$1 Movie Weekend" reward appear on my Rewards page. It's disappointing that to see that the Rewards are not handled in a more competent way. They did offer me a small credit for the SNAFU, so that's something.

My favorite part of the whole adventure was an "Xfinity Verified" email from "ECM Support". The "Subject:" line was completely blank, and the body of the email contained only the words "Please do not reply to this email" plus some generic links of no apparent relevance.  😡  😡  😡

Perfection eludes us.

Wow! Finally, validation that I am not going crazy. I am a Gold Rewards member and no rewards are showing up. This is the 3rd week that the Rewards are absolutely not available when I click on the Xfinity app.

I've called Xfinity and emailed them and still cannot get an answer as to what happened to my missing Rewards?

Thank you for contacting us on the forums, @user_62eb71! I"m sorry you're having a hard time accessing your rewards, but we can look into this right away.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

Any chance I could get a response before the offer expires on Sunday 4/2/23?

It's now Saturday afternoon, and my diamond Rewards page still does not have the "$1 Movie Weekend" offer. Why??? Offer expires tomorrow!

"$1 Movie Weekends Reward: Restrictions apply. Not available in all areas."

Could that have been the problem?

Could be, but no such explanation was offered. Then too, why would they send me an email encouraging me to use a Reward that wasn't available in my area? And why wouldn't they have told me at some point that the email should not have been sent because that Reward was not available in my area? However you slice it, they simply don't know what they are doing.

Apparently they aren't very good at managing their subcontractors either, as TWO YEARS LATER, here I am, still posting:

@BruceW

I don't know why you would get that email or why you wouldn't be able to redeem the award.  I do know it's frustrating, though.

As for the last part, there's not much we can do about the Reply vs. Comment problem.  Jessie submitted it to the contractor many times, but like others that we'd like fixed, they either can't without breaking something else, or it's designed to be this way.  I know it makes no sense, and certainly not the way I would have coded it, but in the end, it is what it is and is probably going to stay this way.
