Cancel Internet and keep tv
I have Xfinity Internet (1 gig) and Xfinity TV (Premium TV). The cable box (XiD X1) is connected via Coaxial cable. I do get Peacock, but I do not use it. I am considering cancelling the Xfinity Internet and subscribing to Fiber Internet provider since Xfinity does not offer fiber yet. I want to keep my Cable TV. Will I still have all channels in the Premium TV Package as I do now? Will the DVR still work the same as it does now? Will I still be able to start watching a program from the beginning while it is still being recorded to the DVR? Will the DVR still save to the cloud and be available for up to a year? Will I be able to schedule DVR recordings through the Xfinity App or will I lose that feature?
Also, if anyone knows when ZipCode 60107 is getting Xfinity Fiber for residence use, I would love to hear able that as well.

Hi there, @Panzmich220! Thanks for reaching out with your questions about what TV features work without our internet service and if fiber to the home service is available. We are happy to further assist you! This link to the X1 DVR services overview page shows all the different features of the DVR service, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-dvr-overview.
-The DVR and the Xfinity Stream app will still work the same as they do now to set up recordings and watch your shows.
-You will not be able to view the apps on the TV box or view internet protocol (IP) channels. You can still watch the IP channels in the Xfinity Stream app.
-You can still watch a program from the beginning while the recording is still in progress.
For the internet service. We are working on speed upgrades across the country. You will see a notification when work is to begin in your area, 10 days in advance. With the FDX upgrade, we offer symmetrical speeds. We also offer a service called Gig X10. That is fiber to the home and offers symmetrical speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Do you want to check out that service further?
