You will not get your refund
beware - Xfinity will charge your autopay and then do everything in their power to not give you a refund. I called to cancel my services and the agent said my services were cancelled. I got an email that was my cancellation was in process. It was never done and they used my autopay to charge me. I have now been on withe the chat agents four times, getting different stories, no email confirmations and they’ve added new third party chat bots to avoid giving me a refund. It seems like a scam.

The same thing is happening to me. I returned my modem and the next day was charged $150 on my debit card for an unreturned modem… obviously an error on Xfinity’s end. So once I submitted my receipt that I did indeed return the modem I was told I would receive my refund on my debit card in 24 hours… never happened. I’ve contacted xfinity several times and was always told “rest assured “ I would receive my refund. I was told several different time frames from 24 hours..to 5-7 days… to 4-6 weeks.. and the latest was 2 hours which of course never happened. I keep requesting an email with the supposed escalation ticket which never comes. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. O am beyond frustrated and don’t know what to do: I’ve been lied to over and over… and all of this over an error on xfinity’s end. They were quick to take $150 but they don’t want to return it to me. I have never encountered such rude chat agents…all repeating the same scripted messages… false promise… horrible customer service .
