Xfinity Unlimited Internet fee

Beware, If you try to remove the router rental fee of $15 dollars by purchasing your own router/modem, Xfinity will increase the 10 dollar "unlimited internet" fee to 30 dollars/month. 

Xfinity also told me that if I use my own equipment, the 800MBPS package is the same cost as the 1,000 MBPS package. So there's no way to reduce your bill and renting the equipment is cheaper.  IMO this is shady.
