Xfinity suspension emails

I keep getting emails from Xfinity that my service will be suspended if my bill isn’t updated. This is the email I’ve got. I called when I got the first one and I was told it is probably a Fraud email and to delete it And I did, but I still keep getting them every couple of days and would like to know why

Funny how I get the fake suspension email after talking to your support about ticket and scheduling appointment. What is the connection within Xfinity?

I got the same type of emails from "ForeTees" today,  it says "Your Xfinity Service Suspension Due to Billing Issues" Then it wants you to click on a link to update your payment information... THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM.  NEVER DO THAT!!!  Always log into your account as normal and see if it actually has an issue (it won't), and update it there...

I also keep getting these emails EVERYDAY. I forward them to abuse@comcast.net. this website they use looks so authentic. You have to click on the address or hover cursor over to see it's not from xfinity or comcast.

I wouldn't click on anything in those emails; hovering your cursor over the links is a safer way to check things out.  Of course, going to the email website and checking for the Xfinity logo for verified mail is also a smart way to check if the email is legitimate.  😉
