Xfinity Support_Incorrect Bill

I closed my Xfinity account and returned all of my equipment before my new billing cycle began. My account was fully paid and up to date at the time of cancellation, so I should not have any outstanding balance.

I just received a “final bill,” so I chatted with a live agent named "Sanchit", but unfortunately, he was not able to help. He repeatedly told me that my account is closed, the bill cannot be adjusted, and that I simply have to pay it. What is even more concerning is that he gave me a fake late cancellation date of 07/15/2026. The letter I received shows 07/05/2026, while my actual cancellation date was 06/27/2026. Seriously???

I also pointed out that the final bill itself says I have 120 days to dispute the bill. Instead of helping me resolve the dispute, he asked me to choose a callback time between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM (????) . That is obviously not a reasonable solution!!

I’m asking an Xfinity representative to please review my account, and correct the bill if it was generated incorrectly.

I can provide my cancellation confirmation number, equipment return receipt, the final bill, and the chat transcript if needed.
