Xfinity rewards $1 movie rental

@user_1b3143 thank you so much for your post for help with your Xfinity rewards $1.00 rental options. The coupon is only redeemable on qualifying movies for which the movie rental would need to be = to or less than the amount of the coupon. The movie rental options do change all the time so feel free to hold on to it if there are no movies for rent in the price range right now! 

I was wondering the same thing about the movie $1.00 coupon…it states for $5.99 movies but as this person inquired…there are less and less $5.99 movies to choose from. So was wondering if we can let’s say rent a $7.99 movie and just get the regular $4.99 credit on our bill and pay the rest? Also saying to hold on to the coupon until there may be a $5.99 movie of interest at a later date…remember the coupons do expire. The only rewards I’m really interested in are for a break on renting and hope you offer them every month. Thanks in advance for your help with this.

We tried to use our $5.99 rewards credit (movie for $1) only to find that almost all movies are $6.99???   Is this "reward" really worth anything?

We tried to take advantage of our Xfinity Rewards $5.99 movie ($1) last night only to find that almost all movies are $7.99.  Is this "reward" really of any value at this point?
