Xfinity refuses to remove a wrong charge of $120

My Xfinity internet service was terminated in June 2025 because I moved to a different address. I did not rent any equipment from Xfinity, as it was pre-installed in my apartment before I moved in in 2022. A new tenant moved into the apartment in July 2025. However, Xfinity charges me $120 for unreturned equipment. I have explained multiple times to Xfinity that removing and returning the equipment would require dismantling the wall of my apartment. Therefore, I request that the incorrect $120 charge be reversed. Despite their multiple promises that the charge will be removed, Xfinity has persistently failed to take the necessary action. I have contacted more than 10 Xfinity agents on this issue, escalated it twice, and even wrote to the FCC. However, the charge still stays on my bill.

user_he82rk, you'll need to enter "Xfinity Support" in the To: line, and this will be processed and taken over by the next available representative.  We look forward to talking with you!
