Xfinity Plaid Declined Bank Account
This is the message from their processor, it has nothing to do with my bank. "EFT Processor Decline. Customer notified bank not to accept these transactions." My bank have a different processor and they said payments withdraw never came to my account. We know what yall are doing and it is not cool. I will cancel my account and go some where else. You make as though we are getting a good deal but sabotaged our accounts forcing us to use our bank card to pay $10 more, I don't like dealing with unprofessional companies. Everyone need to be aware. This game yall are playing will end soon. When people realize how bad the company is, yall need money that bad? Don't tell me ti come in so the problem can be resolved, did that and call.

Thank you @EG for moving this over, so we can assist more efficiently.
Hello @user_h1ydic,
Thank you for reaching out to us here on Xfinity Forums about the EFT Processor Declined error you’re experiencing with Plaid. I know how frustrating this must be, especially when you’ve had to use a different payment method and are missing out on the $10 Auto Pay and Paperless Billing discount. You’ve definitely reached the right place for help as I have had to resolve this through my bank as well and had to change my settings through the bank's website to fix this myself. I know that the setting up the autopay for Xfinity through Plaid is for security of autopay transfers from bank accounts.
An “EFT Processor Declined” error generally means that an Electronic Funds Transfer (an e-check or direct bank account payment) was rejected by either your bank, the merchant's payment processor, or Plaid’s automated security protocols.
Some banks block automated verification tools like Plaid by default. Log in to your bank's website directly (not the mobile app) and check your security, privacy, or Third-Party Sharing settings to ensure external apps and ACH links are allowed.
You can also call the bank and ask whether there are any settings that need to be enabled for third-party or ACH transactions.
Once you’ve confirmed everything with your financial institution, I would recommend removing the checking account information and setting up Auto Pay again.
You can find instructions for setting up automatic payments here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/setting-up-auto-payments
Please let me know if these steps work or if you continue to receive the same error. We’ll be happy to continue assisting you!
