Xfinity modem return

Hi all,

Hope you all are doing well. I asked this question about a month or two ago but wasn’t able to do it until now. I wanted to cancel my Xfinity plans, but I was outside of country for about 2 months or so and wasn’t able to cancel my subscription with Xfinity and return the modem before I left. I now have my modem that I haven’t used for the time I left, and I’m not planning on using it anymore, would it be ok for me to just return my modem without any due? My apologies for the trouble as this was my mistake for not returning the modem and cancel my plans on time, I was really in a rush at the time hence this happened, please let me know, thank you!

Sincerely,

[Edited: Personal Information]

Hello, @user_7690b3! Thank you for creating a post about your account concerns. We are happy to help however we can with the changes you'd like to make. By chance, have you yet attempted to Cancel, Pause, or Move Your Xfinity Services online, in-store, or with the cancellation form as seen in that link?

Not yet, I did try to do the cancellation before I left the country, but for some reason I never got any callback from Xfinity that time, maybe it was on weekends I don’t remember for sure.

Aah! Gotcha, we appreciate the details. Our Xfinity Stores are amazing for closing out your service, you can do everything in one swoop for returning the equipment and account closure. Our team can help make it a quicker process though! Let's take care of the account portion here.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
