Xfinity Mobile signup correction—request for executive review
I’m requesting a one-time executive review of a recent Xfinity Mobile purchase.
I purchased an iPhone 18 Pro with an iPhone 15 Pro trade-in, but accidentally selected Mobile Select instead of Mobile Plus. I still have the 15 Pro and have not submitted it.
I contacted support to correct the plan selection and obtain the applicable Plus device promotion. Chat support says the promotion cannot be adjusted on the original order. They proposed returning and repurchasing the phone, but then explained that doing so would permanently remove my first-year service promotion, with no replacement credit permitted.
I recognize that the original plan selection was my mistake. I’m willing to pay for Plus, and I’m not asking for a second free-year promotion. I’m asking whether there is an authorized way to correct this recent transaction while preserving the remaining service benefits from my original signup.
Could the Xfinity Mobile executive team review whether a one-time exception or another resolution is available? Please confirm the exact device credit and total costs before any changes. I would like my existing order and line left unchanged while this is reviewed.
I have the order confirmation and support transcripts available privately, and need to resolve this before my return and trade-in deadlines. Thank you!

Hello @user_dbhzc1, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. I completely understand your concern, especially since returning and repurchasing the device could affect the promotional benefits attached to your original sign-up. We appreciate you acknowledging the selection error and explaining the resolution you are seeking. While we cannot guarantee that an exception will be available, we can review the original order and account details privately to determine the appropriate next steps. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

Kudos for asking to be transferred to the :::: Xfinity Mobile Executive Resolution Team :::: based out of HQ in Philadelphia!!!
I had an issue with an order/promo code too (3 years ago) & now that I think of it, this is probably the team that called me (2) months later, & 'manually' adjusted our bill to fix the issue!!
