Xfinity Mobile Bill Wrongfully Sent to Collections

I have received a message from TrueAccord debt collection agency about an unpaid Xfinity Mobile bill from January 2026. Back in October 2025 when I originally signed up for home internet, the in-store sales associate wrongfully signed me up for additional Xfinity Mobile service that I did not request. In October 2025 I called Xfinity support to have the unwanted Xfinity Mobile service terminated (Mobile Case number: ECM0017412710). In December 2025 I received a bill for Xfinity Mobile service, however since I never wanted the mobile service I called Xfinity customer service to dispute the bill, and they stated I didn't owe anything. However now (November 2026) I am getting a bill from TrueAccord debt collector.

user_aazunq. I completely understand how concerning it would be to receive a collection notice for a service you’ve already disputed, especially after you were previously advised that you didn’t owe anything. I appreciate you providing the background and the Mobile case number. We’d like to take a closer look at the account, including the previous case and the balance that was referred for collection, to determine what happened and what options we have to help get this resolved. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.
