Xfinity Live Chat offering deals not honored by Comcast

Last year I talked with a live service agent on the website who told me I would be eligible for discounted pricing if I bundled 2 gigabit internet with an xfinity mobile plan. They told me the plan would have totaled out to ~$75($45 internet + $29-$30 xfinity mobile).

Price breakdown:

(($85 billing for 2 gigabit - $40 internet discount)+($39 billing for xfinity mobile- (~$10 device subsidy)) 

I got on the phone with Xfinity billing and was transferred around between mobile and internet departments. In the end, I was told that xfinity does not offer that deal and I have to get a lower speed plan to try and offset costs. Has anyone had a similar solution and could provide some guidance on this?

We have been offering a free Xfinity mobile line for new lines with some promotions that include a $40.00 discount to cover the Unlimited mobile plan cost each month for 12 months. For any discounts included in your promotion, they would have been broken down with details in your customer approval for the change that was sent. Do you by chance still have your order confirmation email? Would it have been received 24 to 48 hours after you made the change to your promotion?
