Xfinity is really terrible, surprise charges, bad bad bad customer service
My bill increased from $59 to $104 a month with no explanation. Apparently I had been part of a year long promotion that ended - but I had Xfinity for 3 years… so not sure how it took 3 years for a year long promotion to end… but anyways, when I saw the charge for 104 I bounced it. Then it increased to $230 in a few days. So I called and spoke with someone who truly, utterly could not help. And kept offering me a discount (which was the normal price I usually paid) and it took about 45 minutes for us to communicate to the point where she told me, on the phone, that I just have to pay the usual $59. It could have taken 5 minutes but she just kept offering my me stuff I didn’t really want. I don’t really know how this company is able to run (outsourcing jobs to other countries, cutting costs anywhere they can), the only good thing I can say is the internet is pretty good… pretty good… most of the time…
I recorded the whole conversation so if anyone is suing them and needs examples of them being terrible let me know!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, @user_wxc3u2 . I can completely understand why you're frustrated. I know it can be upsetting to see your monthly bill increase from $59 to $104, especially when it wasn't clear that a promotional rate was ending. I also understand your concern about the balance increasing further after the payment was returned. I'm very sorry to hear that your recent support experience was frustrating and that it took so long to get a clear answer regarding your billing. Our goal is always to provide straightforward, helpful support, and it sounds like we fell short of those expectations. I'd be happy to take a closer look at your account and review the billing details, including the promotional expiration, the returned payment charges, and any options that may be available to help reduce your monthly costs going forward. If you'd like me to review this further, please send me a direct message with your full name and service address. I'll be glad to investigate and provide as much clarity as possible. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I appreciate the opportunity to help. 😊
