Xfinity iPad Scam

Glad I found this forum to see so many others fighting this same issue. My family fell victim to this Xfinity "free" iPad scam too. Unfortunately, the customer service rep at our local Xfinity store took advantage of a family member with a learning disability. She went in to get her bill lowered and fell for the free iPad scam. They informed her it was free, I called their office to verify -- they reassured me it was. Then a charge shows up on our credit card showing the first of 20 installment payments for the iPad! I contacted the Learning Disability Association of America (LDAA). They advocate on behalf of those with learning disabilities when an organization takes advantage of them or commits some consumer fraud. They interviewed us and have agreed to investigate. This is just cruel. Had to cancel our credit card to avoid further auto billing. Shame on you Xfinity.
