Xfinity Fraud

I canceled my internet after I was charged an extra $100, for which no one would tell me what for so I canceled and reported fraud. They have now charged me again, reported fraud again to my bank, and keep sending me emails saying I owe a balance but when I login it says I owe nothing. Now I get an email saying my xfinity services are "suspended" like I still have an account. They are frauds.

Good evening @user_qtrj0b, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums regarding charges appearing on your account after cancellation. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are happy to help.

I understand that you're receiving notifications indicating that a balance is owed, but when you log in to your account, it shows that nothing is due. To help us narrow down where these charges may be coming from, may I ask if you previously had an Xfinity Mobile account in addition to your internet service? If so, is it possible that the mobile account remained active after your residential services were canceled?

We're simply trying to determine the source of the charges so we can point our investigation in the right direction.

Got it, thank you for confirming that information @user_qtrj0b!

Let's take a closer look at your account to determine why the charges continued after cancellation and where they originated. To get started, please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

You can see how to send us a direct message here: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/guidelines/how-to-direct-messaging-within-the-forum/697ba1e570934d009185c514.
