Xfinity flex tv box hidden fee

I have been charged for multiple months a unused equipment fee for the flex tv box. This was provided for free. I have no idea why I am being charged this fee. I had it installed in the guest room but was not using it. I will return the box now that I am aware but this is ridiculous charging for a free product

Hello, @user_01ibst how are you doing today? Hopefully your Sunday is treating you well 👍 It's true one Xfinity Flex box is included in the price of your subscription if you have Xfinity internet service. If you don't have active Flex service then you need to return that box. If you are seeing an unreturned equipment charge that will be reversed once the box is brought back. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

I have returned the equipment but the unreturned equipment charge has not been reversed. I have no clue why I was being charged for this free box.  The accumulated fees are more than $100. Please help

Happy to hear the device was returned user_01ibst, typically the charge is reversed within 2 billing cycles. There is time for the device to be checked back in and processed. Apologies for any confusion on that return, traditionally any equipment that we provide would need to be returned.
