xfinity failure to use credit card on file for payment.

We have a credit card on file with Xfinity for payments.  Xfinity sends us a bill that we are 60 days late on our payment. BUT exfinity had our valid card on file. This will cause damage to our credit rating. the only msg I could get, there is no one to talk to, I finally found a msg that said "unknown error occurred" 60DAYS after it happened. Please let me know when you will send a notice to  credit agencies that we were not 60 days late in our payments.

Good afternoon eber. I certainly can understand your concern. We have quite a bit of flexibility with our payments. Late payments, do not result in collection agencies. If your account got disconnected due to payments, and then the payment was still not made that would be a situation where a collection agency, would be involved. Please let me know if this helps.

If you're a new customer and you set up autopay and ecobill at the beginning of your service, autopay doesn't kick in until the third bill or 45 days after starting service.  I don't know why CSR's don't tell customers this.  Make sure you check your bill every month.  If autopay didn't kick in and the bill wasn't paid, you probably have late fees as well.
