Xfinity employee disconnected my account instead of transferring it and increased my monthly payment

I moved from Bellevue to California recently where I had a 50$/month 5 year locked price. I was told by Xfinity employees I can keep the same price if I transfer my account to California. Their customer service rep cancelled my account and created a new account instead and are charging me 70$/month now.

When trying to get in touch with their customer service, the employees keep saying only their supervisor can help. For the first two times they said that a ticket was created and the supervisor will call me at 7 PM but they never did. When I called again at 9 PM they wasted 45 mins of my time asking the same question and then transferred the call to supervisor who never picked up.

Does this company consider it's customers a joke? I will be taking the matter to small claims court.
