Xfinity debt
I have recently received mail from a debt collection agency that I am not able to pay. But I haven’t been using the wifi I had to stop paying the bill simply because I couldn’t afford it. I would usually just call but I also can’t afford to pay my phone bill and the reason I haven’t just drove to a nearby store is because I do not have a car. I am a college athlete in mid season so that doesn’t leave a lot of time to work a job and by the time the season is over I would not be able to have worked enough to pay the fee back in time . When I logged back into my account I saw a couple one time fees on oct 3rd for unreturned equipment but I never received the option to return the equipment. I also think part of this fee is I was being charged when I wasn’t using the WiFi anymore. Is there anything that can help me find a solution to this problem? Thank you for time.

If the account has not yet been formally closed, then it may close soon due to lack of payment. Charges are not based on usage but instead the requested and provided services.
There are a few ways the equipment can be returned, once it is returned, the charges for them would remove from the balance owed. Here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/returning-your-equipment we have 3 options all available with different abilities and for any account.
I can review your account to ensure it has been formally closed so that the monthly charges stop.
