Xfinity Charging me after telling me I have zero balance.
I canceled xfinity. They sent me my last bill. I paid it in February. They then send me a $200 bill with a $13 late fee on it.
I of course object to this. Two xifinity customer service representatives in the billing department, one being Max, tell me i do not need to worry about the newest bill. They confirm that I do not owe anything. I then just days later get an angry phone call, a text, and letter in the mail with an invoice amount of $86.34 due.
I call and recieve [Edited: "Language"] from the representative and the supervisor, Dwight. Dwight advised me that even though his employees were wrong, I still owed this amount due to it being "Services Rendered."
I, doing my due diligence, confirmed that I owe no monies to Xifinity by two separate employees in the billing department. He stated that the bill is a legal document and no matter what his employees said I still owe them money.
I cancelled my subscription twice. They played the game of oops, we didn't make ticket for it. I canceled due to the internet not being sufficient. I was advised that the hardware in my home area is old and not capable of giving me the service I pay for.
After approximately 5 hours of speaking with xfinity, nothing was done but threats of collections.

Hi, there! Thanks for reaching out. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I can definitely understand the inconvenience caused by having to deal with this, especially after being told multiple times that your balance was $0. Getting conflicting information, surprise charges, and collection notices is not the experience we like to hear about. You've reached the right place. Over social media, we are a team of experts that specializes in resolving billing concerns such as this. We can help. If you paid your final bill in February and billing reps confirmed nothing was owed, those notes should be reviewed before any additional charges stand. I’d like to do a formal billing review on my end. To get started, please send us a direct message with your first/last name and full address. You can start by clicking the "direct message" icon in the upper right page of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle Xfinity Support to send us a direct message.
