Xfinity Charging $80/mo After I Was Repeatedly Quoted at $55/mo. I called and they refuse to change things.
I signed up for Xfinity in December and I was quoted the superfast plan at $55/mo INCLUDING MODEM RENTAL. I specifically asked for an itemized quote as I did not believe this rate and I was REPEATEDLY told that $55/mo included everything. Since then, I am now being charged $80/mo and when I called they told me I could not change it and if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay the early termination fee for my 3 year contract (roughly $300). TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY MY INTERNET SPEED IS NOT EVEN 400 MBPS!!!! Absolutely insane that Xfinity is allowed to get away with blatantly lying to customers and then not even providing the service they promised.
