Xfinity billing.
I have been signed onto Xfinity for years. And I have ran into multiple billing issues with them specifically regarding fees and charges that I did not authorize nor approve.
For example; a couple of months ago, my bill charged me for a Disney+ membership. Which I have never signed up for a Disney+ membership in my life.
I contacted Xfinity support, and they reassured me that I certainly was signed up for Disney+ services. Which I was not… They proceeded to tell me that I needed to further contact Disney+ support to resolve the issue. So I did, and Disney+'s support team informed me that I do not have an account associated with my email nor my card number, and that I should inform xfinity of this. So I did.
End of story, I sat on the phone for 2 hours to resolve the issue, only to be credited the funds to my account, and not an actual refund.
One month later, I'm dealing with the same exact issue, except with Netflix. For further information; I independently pay for Netflix directly through PayPal, after I was reassured by the Xfinity team that this issue won't happen again since the Disney+ dispute. Lo and behold, it's happening again. At this point, I simply don't know what the issue is and why it keeps happening.
They also have done this to me with more expensive plans, where I had signed on for the basic membership and ended up paying for the highest priced membership possible for months and not even knowing, since I was signed on through autopay.
For future customers, or current customers, I highly recommend finding another service provider as this one has proved to me, time and time again, they cannot be trusted with your personal/ financial information.
