Xfinity Billing Date Inquiry

Hello, I chose to ship the WiFi late September in expectation to use it right away, but it turns out my college roommates and I were already paying for another month of WiFi on your other plan, so I withheld activating the WiFi.

I plan to activate the WiFi I ordered later tonight, yet the billing is due in two days due to ordering the WiFi back around September 28th. If you could revise the billing date to match when I activate the service I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you for your time,

@Gabriel_Williams-2585, Hello! I understand wanting to wait to activate it so you are not paying for 2 at the same time. Your bill would still be due on the same date it shows on your statement. That is based on the date your order completed and the billing dates generated in our system, usually a week after your order is the start of your bill cycle. (That can vary a bit if you activate it before then or requested it be updated to a later date by an agent.)

We can help with a bill credit so you are only paying for the days you used the service. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

1.  Click "Sign In" if necessary.

3.  Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.

4.  In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".

5.  As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
