Xfinity agent lies about promo price

November 2024 I chatted with Xfinity after trying to no end to get someone on the phone. She agrees to extend my price for internet of $60 a month for another year. I confirmed the date that it would be good through December 2025 and have screenshots of the chat.

I get my January bill and it’s $109.

I chat with five different people who say “too bad” basically and offer me $85 a month.

I finally get someone on the phone and am offered $75 for two years and she says the other agent didn’t lock in the promo and I am not under contract. At least I don’t have to do this again for two years. 

Xfinity chat agents will lie and tell you anything and not follow through. I just wanted what I was promised, $60 for another year.
