Xfi Complete charge - current plan is XFi Gateway

I have a $25 charge on my bill for XFi complete. When I go to my profile, it says:

You're currently using Xfinity Internet equipment

Current plan: xFi Gateway ($15.00/mo)
A modem + router in one built to deliver xFi:

  • Whole-home WiFi management including parental controls
  • Free Advanced Security at home to help protect connected devices from cyberthreats

It also gives me an option to switch to XFi Complete for $25. 

Why isn't my bill reflecting the xFi Gateway charge for $15? Can I remove the xFi Complete charge?

Typically when we see the price difference on the xFi complete is due to a promotion rolling off. I would be more than happy to dive into the account with you, and update any changes you wish.
