Wrongly sent to debt collectors

Hello,

I need to know why I was just notified of debt collectors coming after me over 85$? I was never notified of a remaining bill never got a call or email. I no longer live at the address that was serviced. And I transferred ownership to someone else, completely removing my name from account.

my credit score has been negatively impacted and I will not allow this to go unsolved.

I have already payed the balance just in case. I want 100% removal of my name from any debt collection agency. I need a formal apology and refund for the charge from Xfinity. I will not stand for this it’s unreal. The craziest part is I was notified by Valor not even Xfinity.

I need to know what the charge of 85$ was in the first place? Why I wasn’t notified in any way? Why a 3rd party agency was the way I found out this was a thing in the first place. This is unscrupulous behavior.

I would not be happy if I had received a collection debt for a bill I was unaware of I'll be happy to look at the account to see what transpired.  To get started please send me a direct message

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message" icon in the upper right - it looks like a chat bubble
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon just to the right of Conversations
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line - do not use the Employee's name!
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name, the account holder name (if different), and the service address

@XfinityOrlandoM this employee has stopped replying in chat. I need assistance still. If this is unresolved I’ll be suing Comcast for false credit reporting.

Employee assistance became completely unresponsive and my issue is unresolved. Comcast you are seriously the worst and I will be escalating this to my lawyer for false credit reporting and predatory business practices.
