Wrongfully Sent Bill to Debt Collection By Comcast

Today I checked my credit report and noticed my score plummeted due to an "unpaid" debt passed off from Comcast to a collection company called Eastern Account System. I am an existing xfinity customer but upon calling the collector they shared the address tied to the date was not my current one, but was one I lived at nearly 20 years ago as a minor. The owed amount and service were both completely unknown to me and I received no correspondence from Comcast regarding this bill or address at all before it hit my credit report.

How can I go about disputing this so that Comcast can revoke the request to Eastern Account System and I can correct my credit? I tried calling but the support rep didn't seem to understand what I was asking for.

Thanks in advance!
