Wrongfully locked in a contract I never have consent to
I originally signed up for services in March of 2022 and held services until I moved which I moved to an area that Xfinity did not service so I canceled my NON CONTRACT service. When I signed up, I specifically told the gentleman I spoke with when I signed up for service that I did not want to be in a contract for TV and Internet only. He said I would pay more for not being in a contract and I was okay with paying a little more for not being in a contract since I was not going to live at that area for the length of the contract anyways. When I canceled my account I was informed everything was handled and taken care of. Fast forward to a month ago I am being bombarded with calls multiple times a day from a collections agency about a fee for a non return equipment (I owned my own equipment) It appears as if I was wrongfully entered into a contract with no consent signed electronically, verbally, or physically by mail. If someone can reach out so this is handled that would be great
