Why was I charged 100 for install?
I had problems with my speed last month and I went to a Xfinity store and was told they'd send someone out at no charge so I agreed, and was charged 100 for a 1 time install fee! As far as I know he only changed some filter in a box outside. I have nothing inside the house but the cable coming through the wall. Why am I being charged for a problem outside my home? I'm still having speed issues but was told until the area gets upgraded, I'm not gonna get better than this.

Thank you for creating a new post. I'll be glad to review the tech's work and discuss the charge. I'm sure seeing the charge after being told there would be no fee would be confusing. Please send me a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.
