why is my account not cancelled

I called to cancel my account on Feb 27th with an effective date of March 1st. The account appears to be still active and xfinity continues to bill me. I want this fixed immediately.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@XfinityOtto I AM STILL BEING BILLED. My account was cancelled with shut off to happen on Mach 1st. And in spite of calling twice and verifying xfintiy continues to bill me and withdraw from my bank account. This has to stop. I am working with my Florida state Rep to hold Comcast accountable for this nonsense. How many 10s of thousands in Florida continue to be billed after they've cancelled their service?

You need to refund my money for the last two billing cycles immediately and acknowledge that a mistake has been made. I am done playing games with xfinity.

Why should I have to do any of this? I called on Feb 27th and put in an order to cancel my service on March 1 because I was moving out on the 28th of Feb. I received a verification email that I put in a cancel order. I should not have to waste any more time with this company. I called and very clearly said stop my service on March 1st and send me a final statement. I also called on March 6th and was assured the account was canceled. Is that clear? I do not need to explain any more. You have my user id. Now refund my money that Xfinity stole from my account and send me a final statement.

I want this fixed immediately.  I am done playing these games with xfinity Comcast.

@user_b3418c

When you canceled your account why didn't you cancel autopay as well?  Make sure you notify your bank to not pay this again.
