Why does being a long time customer get you a higher bill?
I have been a customer with the current account since 2015, and I would rather not cancel, but my bill went from $185 to $219, and now $260 over the last 3 years. I see a new customer deal with the same channels and internet for $209 online, but I’ve chatted and called with the best offer being $253 as an existing customer. Lowering my internet and channels only brought it to $248 a month. I feel like I’m going to be forced to cancel because I can find lower streaming channel services for much less. It’s frustrating being a customer for so long and being charged more than a new customer. I can understand small increases, but around $35 to $40 a month is crazy. Is there anyway to get a better deal?

Hi there, @user_bqmj9a! Thank you for being a member of our family for so long! We appreciate your patronage and do not want to see that change either. We had recent rate adjustments and it also sounds like your promotion may have ended. While we try to hold down costs, price changes are necessary for a number of reasons, including the continually increasing costs of programming and our ongoing investments in network upgrades, cutting edge technologies, and enhanced products and services.
