Why do new customers get great deals why existing customers only have their prices go up?
No wonder Xfinity is shedding tens of thousands of customers a month. My monthly internet only bill went up 20% from $80 to $100. Meanwhile a new customer can get pricing of $70 per month for the same gig service for 5 YEARS! Don't give me this that they want them to experience the service and become a long term customer....that's a 5 year rate lock when I have been a customer for over 20 years and any kind of promotion I look at still will be a price increase. When I talk to customer service, the first thing they try to do is down sell you to lower your service to get the price point. Meanwhile I could switch to competitive fiber that is now in our development for $79. Yet, customer service won't budge on the pricing. I don't want mobile service. I don't want cable TV. Yet they won't be competitive and punish long term customers.
