Why did my bill just increase by over 5%?

This months bill is higher than last month, but there was no explanation for the increase. Is it just greed?

Hello user_1xkscq thank you so much for taking the time to reach us regarding your billing questions on our Xfinity Residential Forums.  Rate increases can come from a number of sources including promotion expirations, annual tax/surcharge changes, and one -time purchases. Your Xfinity statement is the best resource as each of these is shown on the bill at least 30 days in advance(one-time fees are charged as they are rented, so these always show on the next bill)

This is outrageous!!! Not to mention ridiculous!!!! I'm completely unhappy and quite pissed off!!! I don't make any changes to my account, pay on time and I'm getting overcharged as a Thank you for being a loyal customer?! I should NOT HAVE TO CALL every year to make changes to get a discount for this!

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy. From my experience it usually goes up due to an end in promotional rates on the account. In the spirit of transparency, we provide a listing of the active promotions, the amount saved, and the end date on each and every billing statement. It would be under your services in green text. If you are doing paperless billing, you can check your statements with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-xfinity-billing-history

I am here to confirm what is going on. If that is the case I would be happy to review the account for a new discount. Here is a link: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/offers with our current promotions if you wanted to take a look. Just make sure you are logged on to your account to see the promotions available for your account.  You can also set up the services directly from the website.

Please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!
