urgent bill extension, medical disability accommodation, removal of in person cash payment only.
I am a 79 year old low income customer. I suffer from Parkinson's disease, neuropathy in both legs, and had major arthroplastic surgery to my right hip in May. I live in subsidized housing, and am a Mass Health recipient. My account is scheduled to be disconnected on Monday August 17th. My account, for some reason unknown to me is restricted to in person cash payments only. Due to my medical conditions, I am immobile at present, and spending $30.00 or $40.00 dollars to go to an Xfinity store is not within my budget at present. If I were able to have an Urgent Bill Extension and pay by credit card, there would be no problem. If I were to lose my internet and phone, it could have life threatening consequences as I need internet to communicate with my medical providers via zoom, and many of my medical visits are by phone. I have spent many hours on the phone with Xfinity customer service agents, and many hours with the security team trying to resolve these. issues to no avail. I made a cash payment of $370.00 on August 3rd, they are asking for a cash payment of $360.00 by the 17th. My income is social security. I am requesting an accommodation for medical/disability reasons, urgent bill extension, and removal of in person cash payment restriction. I have been a Comcast customer for at least 15 years, and I am unable to change providers as my building is only wired for Comcast.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
