Urgent: Backend Web Cart Glitch Inflating Estimated Bill to $546.07 / Request to Purge Pending Cart

Hello, I am writing to request an executive escalation regarding a severe technical glitch on the Xfinity account dashboard that frontline customer support is unable to view or resolve.

The Issue:
While logged into my account, I accidentally clicked a promotional link/button that added unauthorized services to my web cart. My cart now shows an estimated monthly bill of $546.07.

The Problem:

The Xfinity portal is providing absolutely no option to remove these items, empty the cart, or back out of the pending change. I have tried logging out, clearing cookies, and using alternative browsers, but the pending $546.07 change remains locked to my active session profile.

Prior Actions Taken:

I contacted standard frontline customer service, but the agents stated they cannot see what I am talking about because the order has not been formally submitted. However, because the cart is locked in this pending state, I am completely blocked from managing my actual plan or viewing my real billing details without risking an accidental $546 submission.

Requested Resolution:

Please have a backend technical administrator or a Digital Care specialist manually purge, clear, or reset the pending web cart on my account profile so my dashboard returns to its normal state.

Thank you in advance

Hi defiant324, thanks for dropping by the community forums! I'd be concerned as well if I suddenly saw something over $500 in my cart, but we at least know that no changes have processed. Can you tell us more about the promotion or services that were added and if they're related to Xfinity Mobile or the residential service?

I was viewing my free Peacock subscription. I thought it expired this year, but it expires in 2027. Anyway, I accidently clicked on the paid version on the left side of the web page & the the next think I knew, there was an amount of $546.07 in my cart. When I clicked on a drop down menu, and tried to look at details, iI saw a pop up window that said
Year 1+
Standard Price $285.59

Estimated monthly total: $546.07 (which later changed to $571.18)

The amount in my cart still shows $546.07.

I have no idea what it was adding to be honest. There is no option to remove anything from the cart.  Be advised I have screenshots of what I'm seeing.

@defiant324 Thank you for this update, I just want to confirm with you, you haven't checked out, and it's only pending in your cart? Have you checked on the subscription from our website to confirm It's still the free promo you had before.

I don't think I checked out. I tried to get to checkout to see if I could remove whatever it is from the cart, but it never gets there. My cart doesn't say it's pending - it just shows what the estimated monthly total will be. And when I look at my free Peacock Subscription, it doesn't show the one for $6/month like it did before. (Not that I want to pay for it if I'm still getting it for free for another year).

@defiant324 Did you receive any email regarding a purchase? It sounds like it did not go through. How are you managing your peacock subscription now?

No emails about a purchase. Only the email confirming I paid my bill which is why I was initially logged in. Since my Peacock subscription is free for now, and I found Xfinity Peacock app to be exceptionally slow, I added the Peacock app to my Samsung Smart TV via the Samsung apps on the TV.  I access Peacock that way instead of thru Xfinity.. But it's set up to know that it's free via Xfinity.
